Attendee Center

Thank you for registering for an event hosted by MPHI Event Management & Consulting. This page is your resource for necessary and useful information before, during and after your event. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please reach out to us at events@mphi.org and we’ll be happy to assist you.
Introduction
Regardless of whether your registration is submitted by you or your proxy, the following Registration Policies apply to you and your participation in any MPHI Event Management & Consulting event, both in-person and virtual. By participating in this event, you agree to these policies so please read them carefully.
Attendee Cancellation Policy
If circumstances change and you can no longer attend an event, you may cancel your registration by providing a written notice via email to MPHI Event Management & Consulting. Registration fees may be refunded if a cancellation is made in writing up to 30 calendar days prior to the in-person event start date, or 7 days prior to the virtual event start date. Cancellations received after the cancellation cutoff date will not be refunded. For cancellations received after the cutoff date with a balance due, the registration amount remains due in full. If you cancel your registration and are issued a refund, you may not re-register for the event. Please remember that canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Attendees are responsible for canceling their own hotel and travel reservations.
Attendee No Show Policy
Submission of an online registration constitutes an official registration and intent to attend the event. No Show attendees who have an outstanding invoice will still be responsible for the balance due if they do not cancel per the cutoff date outlined in the Cancellation Policy above, even in the case of nonattendance. This policy ensures that the cost incurred by your registration is recovered.
Substitutions
Substitution of registrations may be made at any time up to the event start date, but registration fees must be paid in full. Sharing of registrations is not permitted i.e., if an event is multiple days, attendees cannot split the registration, and each attend a different day. Name badges are issued to, can be picked up by, and used only by the Attendee named in the registration. Badges must be worn at all times during the event to identify Attendees as part of the event.
Payment Terms
Invoices are payable upon receipt, and full payment must be received in order to gain entry to the event. Until your payment is received you will not be issued continuing education credit and certificates. Payments at the event can be made via credit card or check. Please note that MPHI no longer accepts cash payments.
Information Sharing
To ensure all our Attendees and Exhibitors derive the greatest value from our events, we may share a list of names, company names, and job titles of Attendees with other Attendees and Exhibitors. If you would prefer to opt-out of such sharing, please email events@mphi.org. Please note that if you engage directly with an Exhibitor during an in-person or virtual conference (e.g. choose to have your attendee badge scanned by an Exhibitor at an in-person conference), we will share your name and contact details with that Exhibitor as disclosed in more detail below.
Exhibitor Badge Scanning
MPHI allows Exhibitors to do their own badge scanning at the event. When an Exhibitor scans your badge, you are consenting to allow that Exhibitor to use your contact information to communicate with you about their services and special offers. Please note that Exhibitor scanning of Attendee badges is optional.
Session Availability
Your event registration is used to estimate attendance for sessions but does not reserve space within that session. Session admission is difficult to enforce and is also subject to venue capacity. Building an agenda in registration or on the mobile website agenda does not guarantee access to any sessions. For example, certain sessions may be at capacity and the Attendee will have to choose a different session.
Use of Multimedia at the Conference
MPHI prohibits the use of cameras and mobile recording devices at all event sessions. Attendees are encouraged to capture their event experiences in the permitted areas of the venue. MPHI may hire professional service providers (photo/video/audio/streaming) to document and showcase the event experience. For virtual conferences, MPHI prohibits the use of screen shots and/or any other technology that can be used to capture proprietary content and images.
MPHI Media Release and License
By attending an event hosted by MPHI Event Management & Consulting you grant permission to MPHI (Michigan Public Health Institute), and its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively “MPHI”), to use, adapt, modify, reproduce, distribute, exhibit, publish and publicly display, in any form now known or later developed, your image, name, likeness and sound of your voice (the “Personal Information”) throughout the world. You waive any right to inspect or approve any Works that may be created using the Personal Information. The Personal Information may be used at MPHI’s sole discretion, with or without your name, alone or in conjunction with any other material of any kind or nature except that MPHI will not use the Personal Information for any criminal or illegal purposes or in a manner inconsistent with community standards of decency. The Works may be used for the following purposes: educational presentations or courses, informational presentations, and/or promotional and marketing activities. You will be consulted about the use of the Works for any purpose other than those listed above. You waive all claims to compensation or damages based on the use of the Personal Information by MPHI, its agents, employees, licensees and assigns. You understand that this Release and License is perpetual, that you may not revoke it, and that it is binding on my heirs and assigns. By accepting these terms and conditions, you acknowledge that you have completely read and fully understand the above terms and release and agree to be bound thereby.
If you would like to opt-out of the MPHI Media Release and License, please send your opt-out request in writing to events@mphi.org.
Push Notifications
MPHI may send push notifications via text and email, before, during, and after the event. These notifications may include alerts, sounds, and icon badges. MPHI utilizes these notifications to communicate changes in schedule and important conference information.
Presentation Materials
You may receive access to session audio/video recordings in addition to copies of presentations and handouts. Use of these materials is for your own internal, non-commercial purposes. Unauthorized distribution (via sales, copying, posting on intranet/internet) is expressly forbidden.

Please do:
- Maintain a respectful, considerate, and courteous attitude towards everyone you engage with online, at the event, and the venue.
- Secure your belongings and be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants.
- If there is a situation that looks concerning or could be dangerous, notify event organizers in a prompt manner.
- Make your messages, useful, informative, and relevant to the event.
Please do not:

Consequences of Violating this Policy
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated at MPHI Event Management & Consulting events. Anyone engaged in unacceptable behavior may result in expulsion from the event without warning or refund. This may also result in prohibition from registering for or attending future events.
Here are some details about attending an event. Please read so that you are prepared.
Checking In to the Event
When you first arrive to the event, please check in to the registration desk to print your name badge and pick up conference materials. MPHI Event Management & Consulting now uses a self-serve tablet and printer kiosk to print your badge and check you in to the overall event.
What to Bring
- Bring a sweater or dress in layers. Room temperature is difficult to control.
- Bring your phone and a charger or battery pack to ensure you are able to access the event mobile agenda.
In order to receive your certificate, payment of event fees is required in full. Participants requesting credit must be registered for the event and have verified attendance. Credits will be given based on your session attendance. Consult the Purpose, Objectives, and Disclosures (POD) document attached to your event reminder email for specific requirements and credit offered.
You must complete the online evaluation in order to receiving a continuing education certificate. You will receive an email with the online evaluation link. This email is generally sent within one business day of the close of the event but can take up to 5 business days. The email will most likely be sent through Eventsquid. We find that this email can sometimes fall into a spam or junk area so please be sure to check there also. If you have not received a link within 5 business days, please email CEinfo@mphi.org for next steps to complete the evaluation. Please note that credit cannot be awarded to participants who do not complete the evaluation before the deadline.
Certificates are immediately generated upon the completion of the evaluation. You will be able to download the PDF certificate from the submission page and a copy will also be sent to your email. We do not keep an archive of past certificates, so please retain a copy for your records. PLEASE NOTE: CREDIT WILL NOT BE AWARDED UNLESS ALL CRITERIA IS MET.
For questions regarding your certificates, please email CEInfo@mphi.org.
