During this session we will provide an opportunity for participants to identify components of cultural humility and care. Discuss approaches to supporting families, particularly in underserved communities. We will discuss the importance of including communities being served when developing approaches or programs. Be able to determine current barriers to providing cultural humility care within your own practice or organization. This session will provide participants with an in-depth look at equity in breastfeeding support and how cultural humility can help to begin building bridges, trust, connect and heal.
