W.A.R. on Slavery: Human Trafficking Awareness
Awareness for Healthcare Professionals.
The Healthcare Professional's course aims to help medical students, residents, physician assistants, attending physicians, nurses, social workers and other medical staff to recognize indicators of abuse so they can intercede on behalf of the patient. This program will play a critical role in preparing our country’s medical community to help victims break out of this abuse cycle.
Awareness for First Responders & Safety Officers
First Responders' and Safety Officers' ability to detect human trafficking victims as they interface every day is the ultimate goal of this course. This program’s human rights framework teaches safety workers a victim-centered, culturally relevant, evidence-based, gender-sensitive, and trauma-informed approach and that includes the essential components of prevention and identification.
