YOU CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!
Home Visitation Programs are in a unique position to help families experiencing domestic violence. To do so requires knowledge and skills on responding safely and effectively. During this full day training, participants will learn about domestic violence and its effect on the health and safety of children and adult survivors. Attendees will gain an understanding of how batterers impact the stability/well-being of children and will explore the protective actions of survivors as parents. This training will provide best practice strategies for discussing domestic violence with the families, recognizing red flags, and offer helpful resources.
