This meeting is designed for people who currently or would like to provide leadership and promote collaboration in their respective communities around suicide prevention planning and implementation. Communities are strongly encouraged to send teams of 3−5 people to the meeting. Participants might include representatives from mental health, public health, education, local government, social services, the medical community, law enforcement, youth-serving organizations, community or faith-based organizations, the business community, populations at risk as well as anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide or is interested in promoting a collaborative solution to suicide in their community.
