Purpose
This one-day, interactive workshop is designed to impact client outcomes with WIC’s highest risk clients through strengthened staff nutrition services delivery. WIC RDs and CPAs will explore all aspects of high risk care plans with focus on goal setting, using the Nutrition Care Process, and staff communication to improve follow-through and continuum of care.

- Conduct a Nutrition Education or High Risk counseling session using client-centered and critical thinking skills for a Value Enhanced Nutrition Assessment (VENA).
- Develop and/or follow-up individual care plans utilizing appropriate and consistent documentation in MI-WIC to promote continuity of care.
