Agenda
Purpose
Infection prevention and control is at the forefront of evidence based practice research and a major target for state and national surveyors in acute care hospitals, long term care facilities, dialysis centers, and ambulatory surgery facilities. In order to provide the best quality of care and meet regulatory obligations, it is imperative that infection control professionals have a solid foundation as well as knowledge of the most up to date standards, methodology, and science. This conference will underscore the foundations of infection control and prevention programs for the prevention and control measures for the Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE); survey preparedness across the continuum of care will be topics of discussion; the prevention and control of the Hepatitis A and Measles. Our expert speakers will help our attendees prepare and conquer these topics and many others related to infection prevention and control and provide current information to take back to their own facilities.
